Privacy Policy
The Chapman Charitable Trust considers your personal privacy to be very important. We use any personal contact data you provide only for the purposes of administering the CCT grant-giving system. Your application, including any personal contact information, is held in the cloud, protected by the security and backup protocols adopted by Google Drive. CCT considers it has a legitimate interest in collecting and holding your personal contact details as the only practical means of processing your grant application.
In addition to this, we seek your explicit consent for CCT to use the e-mail address supplied with your application to contact you again in future in relation to any grant requested by your charity or to alert you to future CCT grants that may be available. We will never share your personal contact details with any third parties. Your personal contact data will be retained for seven years after submitting this application, after which time it will be deleted.
You may at any time contact CCT’s Data Protection Officer by email to request that your personal contact data be deleted earlier than this, and we undertake to do this within a month of your request. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioners’ Office if you think there is a problem with the way we are handling your data.
